This is the submarine Albacore in Portsmouth N.H. Until October 1995, I lived about 20 miles from this site. I have been to this museum a couple of times. It is well worth the trip.

This is the submarine Albacore AGSS-569 underway.

This is the retired submarine being towed to it's permanent home on land.

A railroad bridge and a four lane highway were closed and a canal dug to float the sub to its final place on land. This is the submarine being move through the railroad tracks.

Sometimes you don't know what is watching you! That is not good!!
