Here are some views of my new water garden.

This is a view of my water garden from the deck above. It is "L" shaped with the "L" hidden from view at the bottom left. The visible pond is about twelve by six feet. There are two groups of water lilies. The water fall is on the far left.

This view is from the lower deck. You can see most of the fish grouped together. The pump hoses are visible behind the fish. They are now far less visible. The water fall is in the upper left corner. I have eleven large Comets and Shubunkins. There are also about twenty smaller fish that are the children of the large fish.

Here I am releasing our two domestic koi. We have had them about two months. One "Jack" is red and black and is about a foot long. The other "Grace" is a butterfly tail and is yellow and gold and is about ten inches long. They are growing like you wouldn't believe. These two fish were named after my wife's parents who gave them to us as gifts. Thank you Jack and Grace!

This view is of the pond and the waterfall in the background. The lower deck is on the left. The perimeter of the pond is not finished yet. When done it will be flat rock over the rubber liner. There are two gray tubs with orange tops in the background. They are my homemade filters. I have since moved them to outside the fence. They are working quite well.

This is another view of the lower deck. You can see the "L" of the pond under the indent of the deck. This lower deck is shaded by the upper deck as seen above.
